WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Rand Paul today attended the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing to question Secretary of State John Kerry on the FY2017 State Department Budget request. During the hearing, Sen. Paul emphasized the need to cut wasteful, frivolous spending from the budget, while maintaining a strong national defense. Additionally, Sen. Paul questioned Sec. Kerry on President Obama’s failed foreign policy in Syria.
