WASHINGTON, D.C. –
Citing data from the United States and overseas, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) again called for children to be allowed to return to school during today’s U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee hearing entitled “Update on Progress Toward Safely Getting Back to Work and Back to School.”

In his remarks, Dr. Paul discussed the failure of centralizing planning in the hands of a few and instituting one-size-fits-all plans.

In response to a question from Dr. Paul about the need to reopen schools, Dr. Anthony Fauci stated, “I feel very strongly we need to do whatever we can to get the children back to school, so I think we are in lock agreement with that.”
